Nội dung tài liệu: Nghiên cứu này trình bày việc phát triển một phương pháp thử nghiệm màu mới để đánh giá hoạt tính của enzyme endo-β-galactosidase bằng cách sử dụng các cơ chất p-nitrophenyl β-glycoside được thiết kế đặc biệt. Các cơ chất này, dựa trên cấu trúc của keratan sulfate, cho phép xác định chính xác hoạt tính enzyme. Nghiên cứu cũng khám phá khả năng tổng hợp các oligosaccharide lặp lại N-acetyllactosamine thông qua hoạt động chuyển glycosyl hóa của endo-β-galactosidase. Các kết quả cho thấy các enzyme này rất hữu ích cho việc phân tích cấu trúc và chức năng của các glycan trong các phức hợp sinh học, đồng thời mở ra tiềm năng trong việc tổng hợp các chuỗi poly (N-acetyllactosamine) phức tạp.
