Nghiên cứu này tập trung vào việc đánh giá sự tự chủ của sinh viên trong Chương trình Giáo dục Tiên tiến tại Đại học Nông Lâm Thái Nguyên, thông qua mô hình Câu lạc bộ Tiếng Anh. Luận văn nhằm mục đích khảo sát sự thay đổi về mức độ tự chủ của sinh viên sau một thời gian tham gia câu lạc bộ, khám phá những điểm mạnh, điểm yếu và đề xuất các giải pháp nhằm cải thiện việc triển khai câu lạc bộ để phát triển hơn nữa khả năng tự chủ của người học. Nghiên cứu sử dụng phương pháp nghiên cứu hành động kết hợp với thu thập dữ liệu thông qua bảng hỏi và quan sát. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy sự thay đổi theo hướng tích cực về khả năng tự chủ của sinh viên sau khi tham gia câu lạc bộ tiếng Anh.
