Research on Increasing the Accumulation of Bioactive Alkaloid Compounds from Eurycoma Longifolia Jack Breeded on 20-Liter Bioreactor

Tác giả: Tran Thu Trang
Lĩnh vực: Biochemistry
Nội dung tài liệu:
This doctoral thesis focuses on researching methods to increase the accumulation of bioactive alkaloid compounds from Eurycoma Longifolia Jack, specifically utilizing a 20-liter bioreactor system. The study investigates the potential of Eurycoma Longifolia Jack as a medicinal plant, its current over-exploitation, and the challenges in obtaining raw materials for pharmaceutical production. It explores the application of in vitro culture techniques, particularly hairy root biomass culture in bioreactors, as a viable solution for stable and efficient production of valuable compounds. The research aims to optimize culture conditions, evaluate the impact of elicitors on alkaloid accumulation, determine the chemical structure and biological activities of isolated alkaloids, and establish a quantitative method for their analysis. The thesis contributes to understanding and enhancing the production of bioactive compounds from Eurycoma Longifolia Jack through advanced biotechnology.
