Nội dung tài liệu: Nghiên cứu này so sánh tính hữu ích và giá trị cấu trúc của ba thước đo hành vi thích ứng được sử dụng rộng rãi: Thang đo Hành vi Thích ứng Vineland – Phiên bản Lớp học (VABS-Classroom), Thang đo Hành vi Độc lập – Phiên bản Sửa đổi (SIB-R) và Thang đo Hành vi Thích ứng – Phiên bản Trường học lần thứ hai (ABS-S: 2). Các thước đo này được đánh giá bởi nhân viên và được xem xét mối quan hệ của chúng với mức độ nhận thức và mức độ nghiêm trọng của chứng tự kỷ. Kết quả cho thấy mối tương quan mạnh mẽ giữa tuổi tương đương nhận thức và các kỹ năng thích ứng, cũng như mối tương quan nghịch đảo vừa phải giữa mức độ nghiêm trọng của chứng tự kỷ và mức độ hành vi thích ứng.
