This dissertation explores techniques to enhance daisy flower production in Thai Nguyen City. The study investigates daisy flower cultivation in Vietnam, noting its introduction in the XV century and widespread use for festivals, rituals, and medicinal purposes. Thai Nguyen City is identified as a significant market for flowers due to its strategic location and transportation network. Despite this, daisy flower varieties are limited, and productivity and quality are low. The research aims to address these challenges by identifying high-yield, disease-resistant varieties suitable for the local ecological conditions and developing appropriate cultivation techniques. The study examines various factors influencing daisy flower production, including planting times, the effects of growth regulators like GA3 and foliar fertilizers, and lighting. It also assesses the current production and consumption status of flowers in Thai Nguyen, identifying favorable and unfavorable production factors such as market demand, land availability, pest and disease issues, and technological limitations. The findings are intended to contribute to improving the productivity and quality of daisy flowers in the region.
